Our Work / Made in China

This piece was a site specific response to 'The Chalet' as a building with a complex architectural past and its present as a workshop for artists and designers making works for show and sale.

'Made in China' was carved in situ, directly into the keystone of the oldest part of 'The Chalet', believed to be a byre for cows when it formed part of a farm before any residential development on the southside of Glasgow.

This byre predates 1880.
