New design, build and fit out to brighten up the merchant city flagship salon and bring it up to date. Concentrating on subtle but strong lighting and a clever use of mirrors to maximise client privacy while giving staff a bright and easy working environment.

Layers of mirror and lighting were employed here to lift the space and make both staff and clients feel fresh and relaxed.

Alan wanted the new look to be modern but not stuck in the years around now, it should still be relevant 5 years from now.

Simplicity is the key to that, and using forms that are both retro and current.
